Groupiehead is a creative marketing team based in Albany NY and franchise locations around the country. We have over 17 years of solid, hands-on experience working with a variety of clients with a wide array of budgets and projects. We’ve been programming websites since they were just boring sentences scrolling up a blank screen. You’ve seen (and heard) our work around town, in print, on television, on radio, and on the Internet. From lawyers to rockstars. circus performers to restaurant owners, corporate real estate to state agencies… let Groupiehead guide you down the path to successful design and marketing. We look at every project as a challenge… a chance to be more creative than the other guys and outwit the competition. We’re big enough to get any job done, but small enough to give you personal attention… and our cell phone numbers! We’ve got enough experience to understand your needs and avoid potential problems – even when you don’t see them coming. We’re creative enough to give you options you hadn’t thought of, and we’re smart enough to give you better work in less time.

A solid social media campaign can help you in 4 ways: 1) It will give you a direct connection to your clients, customers and fans. 2) It’ll give you exposure so more people will know who you are and it will make your business look alive and active when potential customers are researching you. 3) It gives you the opportunity to advertise to a very specific target market, reaching thousands at a very low cost. 4) A well planned social media campaign will not only increase the rank of your website in search engines, but it can also double, triple, or even quadruple your
search engine exposure.
Don’t waste money hiring a social media firm full of interns using automated software. Your business is more important than that. and social media is so much more than posting a comment; it’s visual and written design. it’s website programming and search engine strategy. it’s marketing. and understanding how it all works together.

Groupiehead is owned and operated by Mark Rose. Mark has been working for clients in Albany Capital District for almost 20 years. Mark studied art and video production and taught himself 3D modeling and website design in the mid-90s. At that same time he accepted a partnership at a local printing/marketing company. In 2008, Mark headed out on his own to form Groupiehead.
“I wanted to be a company that helped the little guy. It was very common to come across small businesses that had been charged far too much for inferior work. I knew I could give clients better work and charge less than they were paying. I wanted to be a company that clients could call on for help and be confident that I would have a solution for them at a very fair price. I’m proud Groupiehead is that company.”
In his spare time, Mark has played in several successful bands. Most notably, his now dormant band, Ten Year Vamp. has opened for Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and 50+ other well-known national artists. Ten Year Vamp’s original songs have been used by many national and cable television networks, as well as major league sports teams and International businesses such as Adobe and Dockers. Yes, you may notice that Mark’s good friend and drummer of over ten years is also Groupiehead’s Social Media Manager, in charge of overseeing all day-to-day social media work. Occasionally, you can find Mark and Greg, along with Mark’s wife Jessalyn and current band, Double Down Hardways. performing country music around the Albany Capital District.
Yes, when we say ‘Rockstar Marketing for the Regular Joe’, we really mean it!
Mark is also the author of Small Business Guide to Self-Marketing. “I’ve had many clients come to me for help, only to find that if they had understood a few simple things, they could have saved hundreds of dollars and/or had better solutions to their problems. It bothered me so much that I wrote a book. I decided to put something together to help all those people out there
working hard and doing things on their own.”
